Stacked Markets Legal
Privacy Policy
Effective date: April 20, 2026
1. Introduction
Stacked Markets ("Stacked Markets," "we," "us," or "our") is committed to being transparent about how we handle information in connection with your use of our interface and services (the "Interface").
This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect or receive when you use the Interface, how we use it, and your rights in relation to that information. By using the Interface, you acknowledge and accept the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
2. Our Minimal Data Approach
Stacked Markets is a non-custodial, wallet-based interface. We do not require you to create an account, provide your name, email address, or any other personal identifying information in order to use the Interface.
The only information associated with your activity on the Interface is your blockchain wallet address, which you voluntarily connect. Wallet addresses are pseudonymous and do not, on their own, constitute personal data in many jurisdictions, though in some jurisdictions they may be treated as personal data where they can be linked to an identifiable individual.
3. Information We Collect
3.1 Information You Provide
We do not collect any personal information directly from you. You are not required to submit your name, email, date of birth, government-issued identification, or any other personal details to use the Interface.
3.2 Information Collected Automatically
When you access the Interface, we or our service providers may automatically collect limited technical information, including:
- Your IP address, used for geo-restriction enforcement and security purposes.
- Browser type and version.
- Device type and operating system.
- Pages visited and time spent on the Interface.
- Referring website URLs.
This technical information is collected to operate, secure, and improve the Interface, and to enforce our geographic restrictions on access from Restricted Jurisdictions.
3.3 Blockchain Data
When you connect your wallet and submit trade instructions through the Interface, those transactions are broadcast to and recorded on the Hyperliquid blockchain. Blockchain data is inherently public and immutable. We do not control and cannot delete on-chain data. Your wallet address and transaction history on the Hyperliquid protocol are publicly visible.
4. How We Use Information
We use the information described above for the following purposes:
- To provide and operate the Interface.
- To enforce geographic access restrictions in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- To detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, or other harmful activity.
- To monitor and improve the performance and security of the Interface.
- To comply with applicable legal obligations.
- To calculate and process service fees.
We do not use your information for advertising purposes, and we do not sell, rent, or share your information with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
5. Disclosure of Information
5.1 Service Providers
We may share technical information with trusted third-party service providers who assist us in operating the Interface, such as hosting providers, analytics providers, and security services. These providers are permitted to use the information only to perform services on our behalf and are required to maintain its confidentiality.
5.2 The Hyperliquid Protocol
When you execute trades through the Interface, your wallet address and transaction data are transmitted to and recorded on the Hyperliquid protocol. Hyperliquid is a separate, independent decentralised protocol. Please review Hyperliquid's own documentation and terms for information about how they handle data.
5.3 Legal Compliance
We may disclose information where required to do so by law, court order, regulatory authority, or other legal process. We may also disclose information to protect the rights, property, or safety of Stacked Markets, our users, or the public.
5.4 Business Transfers
If Stacked Markets is involved in a merger, acquisition, asset sale, or similar transaction, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you of any such change via a prominent notice on the Interface.
6. Cookies and Similar Technologies
We may use cookies and similar technologies, such as local storage, to:
- Remember your wallet connection preferences.
- Maintain Interface settings across sessions.
- Collect aggregated, anonymised analytics about Interface usage.
You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though this may affect the functionality of the Interface. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.
7. Data Retention
We retain automatically collected technical data, such as IP logs, only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including for security, fraud prevention, and legal compliance purposes. We do not retain personal data beyond what is necessary.
Blockchain data is permanent and immutable. We are unable to delete any data that has been recorded on the Hyperliquid blockchain.
8. Data Security
We implement reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information against unauthorised access, loss, or disclosure. However, no transmission over the internet or electronic storage system is completely secure. You acknowledge that you use the Interface at your own risk and that we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Children's Privacy
The Interface is not intended for or directed at persons under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect information from minors. If we become aware that a minor has accessed the Interface, we will take steps to restrict that access.
10. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights including:
- The right to access information we hold about you.
- The right to request correction of inaccurate information.
- The right to request deletion of your information where technically possible and to the extent it is not stored on an immutable blockchain.
- The right to object to or restrict certain processing of your information.
To exercise any of these rights, please contact us using the details below. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe in accordance with applicable law.
11. International Data Transfers
Given the global nature of blockchain technology and the internet, your information may be processed in countries other than your own. We take steps to ensure that any international transfers of information are subject to appropriate safeguards.
12. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will indicate the date of the most recent revision at the top of this document. Your continued use of the Interface following any update constitutes your acceptance of the revised Privacy Policy.
13. Contact Us
If you have any questions, concerns, or requests regarding this Privacy Policy or our data practices, please contact us at privacy@stackedmarkets.com.
